I received this blanket from some relatives for my baby shower. I took one look at it and thought they were crazy. There was no way my baby was going in that thing! When my son was about a month old, however, my husband and I were desperate for sleep, so we decided to give it a try. What a miracle! The other reviews have just about said it all as far as how wonderful it is, but I would like to add one thing. When he started to outgrow it, we loosened it a little bit at a time. I think this was very effective. We basically weaned him off of it so that it wasn't so hard for him to fall asleep without it. Great product!

These are great. They are very soft, large in size, hold up well to repeated washings and most of all very breathable. If you put a muslin blanket over your nose and mouth, you will still be able to breath freely. This is a huge safety thing for us. Aden + Anais makes great products, construction wise, they are all pretty much the same muslin cloth cut into different shapes and layered into different thickness. We have 12 wraps, 2 dream blankets, and 6 bibs - happy with all after 9 months of use. On the downside, A+A is expensive (although if you watch, prices on amazon fluctuate quite a lot and if you don't NEED to have particular colors, can usually find good deals), and they are also all made in China.

The name says it all! I was told to try this by a friend after our old school receiving blankets were not keeping our daughter wrapped up as she got stronger. She sleeps SO good in it! We now have 2 of them. One that is in the diaper bag for when our daughter is at Grandma's and one for home. She has now out grown it, but only in the length. So we leave her feet out and purchased a Swaddle Me that we wrap ON TOP of this one. So she is now double swaddled. Her arms NEVER come out of this blanket. I was lazy one afternoon and just used the Swaddle Me, big mistake. She took a bad nap and had an arm out in 10 min! Some one said it was hard to use. I would always swaddle while she was awake and THEN feed her. That way she would fall asleep after eating and we just set her in bed. She would calm as we started to get one arm in the blanket. I now give these as baby shower gifts... as they make our lived so great!

I am a huge follower of Dr. Karp and his Happiest Baby on the Block Book, therefore I am a firm believer in swaddling a newborn and just love the idea of having the Soothing Sounds CD to play for Zachary when he arrives! The Sleep Sack Swaddle is a super soft wearable blanket that can double as a swaddle. This is going to be perfect since Zack will arrive in the winter time. I love how easy the Sleep Sack is to take on and off and am very impressed that the swaddle feature can be removed once Zack outgrows swaddling! Not only do I love the look, feel, and features of the Sleep Sack, it adheres to Flammability Laws and of course can help reduce the chance of SIDs so it is a "must have" product in my opinion.

I LOVE this book/movie. There is NO WAY I would have survived the first three months of my 4lb 4oz baby boy's life. No way, he screamed from the get-go. It really does work because it has the steps to remember what the heck to do at 3:00 in the morning when you haven't slept since two the previous morning!

Very helpful and informative. My husband and I had a fun time watching the DVD and "practicing" on a couple of Teddy Bears. haha Great product though! Don't know if it really works yet though as we still have two weeks to go until our son makes his grand appearance!

I owned the original Baby Bjorn with my first son and liked that I had my hands free, but didn't like the unbearable shoulder pain after walking around! For my second son, I registered for the Active Carrier hoping this would distribute his weight more evenly and leave me pain free...which it has. It's a bit more cumbersome to put on because you have an extra strap where the lumbar support is, but it's worth it. My youngest falls asleep almost instantly when I put him in his Bjorn. I can push my older son in his stroller at the mall so that I don't have to lug around the heavy double stroller. I can take our oldest to the park and have my hands free to give him a little push on the swing while his baby brother is looking on from his carrier. I had kept the original Bjorn "just in case" but when I tried to use the original Baby Bjorn to take a quick stroll around the block after leaving the Active Carrier in my husband's car, I had to remove it after 2 minutes because my shoulders hurt so bad! Needless to say, I got rid of the original Bjorn not too long after that incident.
